Pidgin supports many plugins, multi-language and other equipment are constantly being developed. Besides the advantages with using Pidgin we can arrange multi-user, with a range of accounts we can use it to chat with at once without having to turn accounts.
However, until this article was made, Pidgin does not yet support a webcam but it seemed to the fore this can be overcome.
